We've seen a big uptick in affiliate thread advertising. This is where members post a URL to a website and receive a commission for each sale.

The reason we do not allow Affiliate threads is because you can easily have a dozen members all posting threads that include the same items and same URL. This is duplicate spam and creates a poor environment for buyers. Each thread must be unique, so 10 sellers can't be selling the exact same accounts.

We have blocked 4 such domains today and will be blocking more over the next few days and weeks.

If you see your links are broken, that means you must update your thread and remove those URLs. If you try to work around the domain blocks, your threads will be deleted as spam. No duplicate sales please.

Hello, I still have several questions regarding this reminder..

- If seller have their links broken, and not yet update the thread or remove those URLs, did they can be reported or get infraction and resulted banned in the end?
- If seller already know this rule and still have another affiliate link that not yet get blocked by EpicNPC, can we click report button to report them?
- I saw the rules on forum rules that mention linking the site on our signature is not counted as a link
so if seller put the affiliate link on their signature, and direct buyer on their post / thread to see their link on their signature, is this allowed?

Hello, I think need some explanation regarding this..

Also I was randomly banned I was busy yesterday and wasn’t aware of this, then I got banned why was I ban? Thanks

Hello I’m a official seller from the website, I’m not a middleman I can show proof
Also I was randomly banned I was busy yesterday and wasn’t aware of this, then I got banned why was I ban? Thanks
The ban has nothing to do this topic and an explanation was already sent to you via the support ticket you opened.

No, you still can't post those accounts for sale. Being a MM for that website is irrelevant. A dozen different members are selling the exact same accounts. This is spam and not allowed.

The owner of that website can register here and make a thread. No one else can sell those accounts. If you want to be a reseller, buy the accounts upfront so they're removed from the website. That will mean you're the only seller with those particular accounts and you're allowed to sell them. However if we see others sellers posting the same accounts, then we'll know you did not purchase the accounts and you risk being banned for trying to evade rules.

We'll wait until Monday to give these sellers some time, then we'll start giving out warnings and removing threads, but you can report sellers now.

Yes a link in your sig is okay. Obviously there's common sense limitation for this. If someone creates a full ad in their sig, it's not allowed. Posting a link and a short sentence would be okay. However the domains are blocked and will remain blocked for a minimum of 6 months until the owner contacts us to have them removed and agrees to stop all reselling activity on our site by others.

I wonder how you will decide it if there is indeed several seller selling same account?

Example like this subforum : 7DS Grand Cross Subforum

and here is my post selling the account : https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/7-d...unlinked-account-with-top-tier-combo.1466560/

where I sell Meliodas + Gilthunder, but there also other seller that have same SSR and account too, and they also will sell it since they are the most popular combo in the game

how we can decide if they are not the same accounts or not from the affiliate link or reseller of those website?

Member submitted reports are the most common way we learn of violations. If a buyer contacts two sellers and they both show the same accounts, that member could report it. Mods and admins also will keep an eye out for these types of violations. If we suspect a seller is still doing this, we'll contact them and request information about the accounts they're selling.

okay I understand, I will try add watermark for every account screenshot that I have, althought there is limited attachment that can be upload on epicnpc, but I will try figure out other option to solve this

thank you for the explanation..

I was confused about this rule.
All resellers will be banned in a week and they have to make their products unique right?

selly.gg/@rerolling is my own shop, I will not use affiliate links by using selly.gg
Admin give me some time to fix problems until monday
Before monday, the affiliate links are deleted on selly,gg
And I will try to sell my own accounts on selly.gg without the affiliate links ( I will buy accounts and then resell it on selly,gg)

So please stop reporting me and sending warning messages

Members that post affiliate links will be warned, threads removed and if they continue, then banned.

Resellers are okay.

Reseller is someone that buys an account/item from someone, then resells it. (unique sale)
Affiliate links are sellers that post links to the same sites, then received a percentage of each sale. (spam, lots of duplicate sellers)

littlekitty you are not a reseller. You are posting affiliate spam links. This has been against the rules for many years.

Posting a link to Sellg, then redirecting to the affiliate site is the exact same thing. Members that do with will receive violations and eventually banned if they continue.

If you want to be a reseller, you must BUY the accounts from the website yourself, then resell them on your own. This way no other seller will list those accounts.

I think you need review and update your sale/trade threads, even if you remove the affiliate links, there is so little information on your sale/trade threads.

there is a rule that mention you need include item information, contact and price with your sale/trade threads, if not it considered as spam
