New to selling and would like some advice on etiquette

Hi im currently trying to sell my WoW Onyxian Drake account. Ive gotten messages from 2 people thus far and ive told them im taking offers right now and deciding on friday. However theyve tried to push me into selling to them right away cause i have no rep and calling me a scammer for wanting to wait. Am i doing something wrong? I mean it seems like common sense to take offers and decide between them however ive never sold anything before so I dont know how its suppose to be done.

Im trying my best to show people im not a scammer by offering to meet them in game and talk to them any way theyd like however they all want verification by giving them my account detail but no way am i doing that. Can someone give me an example of how a smooth sale goes through? Also whats best to show im not trying to scam?

Two things to know:

1. Scammers like to rush new traders through transactions. This lets the nerves build up fasts and makes the new member more likely to be careless and make a mistake. Dont do a transaction with someone if they appear to be rushing you, 90% of the time it is not worth it.

2. WoW players are impatient. They need their WoW fix as soon as possible, and you holding back gets in the way of that. If you encounter this type of person, avoid them. They are most likely too absorbed in the game and are bound to do something stupid in the future, like recalling your account.

Any good member of this website will have no problem giving you the time you need to make a decision. Especially as a new member you have to tread carefully as you are the #1 target for scammers.

a last point then:

3) even assuming you find someone you deem appropriate to deal with, protect yourself by ensuring they cannot recall the money or mess with you in the future / are least likely to recall the account

90% of the time if they are refusing to offer a scan of ID (school or gov) that matches e.g. their western union or paypal / blizzard account first last name then they are up to no good in the long run.

Thank you for the info! it helped me as all ive been getting are scammers. soooooo you know anyone reputable that wants to buy an Onyxia Drake account? lol
