New here. Need advice - WTS Account

Hi, I'm new to this website. I'm wanting to sell my account but i'm looking for some advice before I do.
I hear a lot of scamming and such can go on in this area of trying to sell accounts.
Also once I know how to sell safely what information will I need when selling my account will I need to give the buyer cd key? and secret question to the account if there is one? where can I find out what question is? as I haven't had to use it at all.

Well im new here too and want to sell some eve and wow accounts too , but a bit scared - unless to use middleman service (what is wise i think). You can find posts in separate topics like : Middlemans services . Cd key or secret question or even both , yeah gonna be used on selling acc .Thou some asks just one of em ( i cant find mine cdkeys... acc 3y old lol). Secret question u can find when logged into your acc in battle.net .

Rule nr one: treat everyone as a scammer until proven otherwise
Rule nr two: never give any info, ID to anyone. (If the player has high rep rating it may be worth to give him the pass to have him look around, but it would be advised to have an authenticator on the account when doing this)

Hmm.. I really suggest that for one of your first trades you sell to a repped user. You can find many users who have a good amount of reputation here and wouldn't risk scamming you.

Some suggestions though...

- ALWAYS require people to post in your threads before you do a deal with them. Even if their AIM name looks the same, it sometimes isn't.
- Take things slowly. Scammers will try to rush you.
- Make it personal. Get their home phone number and speak to them (look it up online to make sure it's a landline, not a cell phone).

When you start selling, usually you give the username/password, secret question/answer, etc. Do not give them your ID unless they are a trusted buyer!
