DISPUTE GUIDELINES
  • Please report false feedback ASAP, within 10 days of receiving the feedback
    • If reported within 10 days, the user who gave the feedback will be asked to prove it. If they are unable to, the feedback will be removed as false.
    • We will make a best effort to investigate feedbacks up to 30 days from when the feedback is received.
    • After 30 days the burden of proof falls solely on the member who receives the feedback.
      • Example: Joe gets a negative feedback from Roger. Two months later Joe files a dispute to have it removed. Joe must show proof the feedback is false. Roger does not need to prove his feedback is true.
  • Between 11 - 30 days is a gray area. We will do our best to investigate, however decisions will be made on a case by case basis.
  • Feedback will ONLY be removed if it's false. If resolved, it will be updated to neutral.

You MUST provide proof or your claim will not be valid!

NOTICE: Please remember that you must edit out any personal information such as a full Name, phone number, address, or any other personal information. Failure to do this will result in your post being edited or possibly removed. ALL members are entitled to privacy.

@ProtoKitty please respond.

Video has been provided showing you were paid, but not after a 9 hour argument. That has been edited out of your review.

A job was offered, you accepted. I'm not sure how that's a "forced blind competition for underbid". If you had a problem with the amount being offered why didn't you ask for more or complain about it? Video shows the offer was made and you accepted. I don't see how this is the seller's fault or even a problem.

10:23am - ProtoKitty notifies EpicBoost boost is complete
2:25pm - EpicBoost replies
10:30pm to 10:54pm - ProtoKitty replies, you 2 argue
10:56pm - payment sent 1 minutes after PP email was provided, not 9 hours.

I see no issue with payment.

I agree with ProtoKitty about the "don't contact customer" issue. That was never told to him before the boost, but other than a 20 min argument, I don't see how this deserves a 2 star review.

I disagree about the underbidding issue, that should be removed from the review and also the "EXTREMELY bad experience". You took a job, accepted the offer, got paid. What is EXTREMELY bad about that?

The argument about the customer contact is a minor issue. At worst this is a 3 star review imo.

i apologize if i implied that it was a "9 hour arugement", that was not my intent, thank you for editing my reply

what i mean by forced blind competition, is that i tried to figure out what prices he wanted, and he refused to tell me what they were, he just wanted me to give my prices, which my opinion is to just to get me to underbid others with out having knowledge of what his going prices are

i asked him to just directly give me a price which he refused to do multiple times.

I absolutely did not have a problem with the amount of money he payed, at all - that was not my issue, it was the experience with speaking to him that was initally negative - that is not at all the reason for my negative review, it's just one additional peice that leads to an overall bad experience. his refusal to update his rules and condescending nature to me was what escalated the issue on my end

i will update the review to 3 star as per your quest, but i did have a very bad experience, it was frustrating trying to move around his lack of understanding of the game he's reselling services for, it was frustrating to not get a clear answer on his rates (i had to go look up what he charges his customers myself because he would not tell me), it was frustrating having him not understand how the bug affects the order completion, it was frustrating having him argue with me about the customer, with things like "its fine its fine stop talking to me its fine, you're fine" because he just wanted to "shoo" me away, i just wanted there to be clarification on his rules, that was my ONLY issue. but he made this a thing about ego and our escalation and him blocking me instead of continueing to discuss this like adults really was frustrating.

this was after he payed me, and i do admit i got heated because i just wanted what i believed was something incredibly minor, and i felt epicboost was intentionally trying to instigate with me
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 9:56 PM
appreciate it
i read through your rules on your forum thread
you explicitly ask for good communication
which is something i excel at
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 9:57 PM
ok next time dont contact customers
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 9:59 PM
i wont be contacting the customers again on your behalf
but please make that clear in your posts previously, as well as your forum thread
in full disclosure, there's a significant lack of professionalism and courtesy here, the customer always comes first, your poor english and lack of familiarity with the minute details of destiny 2 made trying to ascertain what needs to be done in a timely manner for the customer very difficult
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:05 PM
my poor english?
you didnt ask me permission to contact the customer
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:06 PM
yes, there has been a pretty significant communication barrier here
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:06 PM
that is shady
on your part
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:06 PM
there is absolutely nothing shady about me contacting the customer im doing work for, what do you mean?
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:06 PM
it is
without permission
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:07 PM
Explain.
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:07 PM
i am giving you the order to do
you didnt ask me permission to contact customer
or brought it up
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:07 PM
you are asking me to do an order for a customer, im doing the order for him, am i not?
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:07 PM
you didnt have permission
i said that twice
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:07 PM
you never told me i needed it
i've done work for dozens of people, and the either don't mind me contacting the customer or they tell me before asking me to do the order
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:08 PM
yeah its something you shouldnt do
in general
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:08 PM
again
i've done
hundreds of orders
and this has never been a problem
groups that do not want me to contact the customer tell me not to.
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:08 PM
you can contact your own customers to do that
but not from someone who hires you
without permission
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:23 PM
yes i can, but i've worked HUNDREDS of orders for other groups.

and i've noticed three different types of groups:

Group A: Please dont contact the customer, we want the face of our business to be the only point of contact
Group B: Please DO contact the customer, build a rapport
Group C: We dont care either way, do what works for you
this other group im working for right now
gives me the customers personal phone number
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:23 PM
its fine i understand
just talking about for me
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:24 PM
if you understand, then why do you not have your contact procedures in your ruleset for your post
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:24 PM
because 99% of my boosters
dont do that
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:24 PM
clearly you don't, if you do not have proper contact protocols marked
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:24 PM
they pretty much know from experience with others im guessing
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:26 PM
but you are the outlier, you are the ONLY person i've worked for who did not upfront tell me not to communicate with the customer and then had a problem with it
i've worked for several groups who did not tell me what to do, then had no issue i contacted them
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:27 PM
doesnt matter to me
i already just said it now
for future if anything
no point to keep explaining
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:28 PM
i know but what im trying to explain to you is that you need to edit your ruleset going forward
i am not going to tell you how to conduct your business, but you need to conduct it like a business, rules need to be posted beforehand
a simple edit of your post would suffice
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:29 PM
okay now youre being rude
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:29 PM
no im not
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:29 PM
you keep going on and on
when i try to stop
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:29 PM
im just simply asking you to update your thread dude
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:29 PM
i dont have anything left to say to you
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:30 PM
okay, with out being rude, i apologize if i sound rude, can you explain to me why you do not want to update your rules to match your actual rules?
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:55 PM
youre rude
in the way you speak
and this chat shows it
"TERRIBLE experience. Knows nothing about D2, Poor english, does not communicate well, forced BLIND competition for underbid. refused to fix a communication error on his part, refused to pay me for a 7 hour job. payed me after 9 hours - Never again."
you agreed to it?
manipulating the situation
not to much
you started the order late
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:58 PM
I physically could not start due to the bug that was denying customers specific milestone loot but NOT specifically trials flawless reward
your lack of understand on destiny 2, that means nothing to you
its just jibberish
so i had to clarify that with the customer
i updated my review
to be more clear about what happened
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:59 PM
your review is clearly bullshit
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 10:59 PM
how?
i have deliniated every single thing that happened exactly as it happened.
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 10:59 PM
i will have it resolved
with admins
and show the screenshots
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 11:00 PM
I have a chat log included.
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 11:00 PM
you accepted a job
on your own free will
and yet complaining
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 11:00 PM
okay i will edit the review or even remove it
if you just
UPDATE YOUR ****ING RULES
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 11:00 PM
i dont need to listen to you
you know that right?
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 11:00 PM
you are acting like a child I DID NOT BREACH ANY RULE OF CONTACT BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO RULE OF CONTACT.
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 11:00 PM
this is my thread
youre acting like a child by giving me a negative feedback
after i told you its okay

This particular part of the discussion is the reason i have a negative rather than neutral review, there is no justification in any circumstance for you to have a misunderstanding with someone you are working with, and then for them to ask you to please update rules to prevent further miscommunication and misunderstanding so everyone involved can have a better experience, there is no justification to ignore this request, especially in this manner, i never wanted to argue, i never wanted to re-negotiate payment, all i wanted was him to appropriately acknowledge the fact that communication protocols are very fluid between different business styles and not telling your workers how to go about them is a very easy way to leave yourself open to constant miscommunications. the fact that he ignored me categorically because we had a minor disagreement seems very wrong to me, and i told him multiple times that i would make the review POSITIVE if he just updated his rules proves that he is less interested in making EPICNPC a better environment for business, than he is about winning an argument.

Does my reasoning here line up with the standards and marketplace ideals of epicnpc? i believe that this type of issue, an issue that hurts customers and businesses alike is more important to be remedied than personal disputes or argument, that is why i ultimately said i wanted a tangible update to his thread to help everyone who isn't me, i never wanted an argument , i appreciate you editing out misleading information, its important to note though the video and original review he sent you have already been edited by me to try to not slander in any regard

after i hear back from you on this manner, i will update and clean up the review further, my only request here is to remedy the miscommunication and make one of my favorite online marketplaces safer for customers and business owners alike, thanks for your time man sorry that this dispute even happened

some additional things:

when i made the inital claim about him waiting to pay me, it was because i gave him my paypal, he thanked me for the order, asked me a question, i didnt reply, and he did not pay me for that claimed duration

EPICBOOST's response to my question as to why he did not pay me, (logs here)
EpicBoostLast Sunday at 11:06 PM
"he spends 9+ hours not paying me because i contacted the customer."
you must be joking
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 11:06 PM

CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 11:08 PM

EpicBoostLast Sunday at 11:09 PM
so you can be here?
when i do it
and make sure you got it
you just making up random stuff
to slander me
its funny now
CoffeeKittyLast Sunday at 11:09 PM
you are absolutely adamant, that you did not wait 7 hours to pay me because you wanted to chew me out about contacting the customer first?

when he wrote

"EpicBoostLast Sunday at 11:06 PM
"he spends 9+ hours not paying me because i contacted the customer."
you must be joking"

i asked him why he did not pay me after thanking me, he claimed that he was asleep but i dont see how he could have been asleep while also thanking me for the order completion.

then i pointed out he thanked me, he said i didn't provide my paypal info, which i gave proof that i did.

then i asked why he delayed in paying me after i showed him proof i gave him the paypal (by the way it was only a few lines above the "thanks")

he said "because i wanted you to reply to my question"

i then asked why he needed me to reply to his question for payment, he said i needed to be online to verify the payment. (he never stated that was a requirement either in our arrangement)

-
From my perspective, this appears to be a series of reason to delay payment until the topic of contacting the customer can be discussed and resolved, due to his expectation that the customer be not contacted which as i have already shown was not part of our arragenemtn or rules lined out in either our inital discussions or the rules stated in his thread advertising himself, this disagreement about payment is what ultimately lead to our arguement becoming so heated, i felt that he was going to deny payment for services rendered. while he did ultimately pay me, when i tried to clarify how this misunderstanding between us is dangerious, and made a simple request to update terms and agreements for the beterment of future employees, he refused, mulitple times, that is the direct cause of the escalation.

Yes, I agree with most of your points.

Some sites pay all boosters the same amount while others pay each booster differently. It's not our job to tell members how to run their business, so I try not to comment or get involved in discussions about business models. However that site owner needs to be clear about their rules, so I do agree they should include the "no communication with customer" rule in their ToS if that's important to them.

The rest is an minor argument that turned into something larger. I don't want to place blame on who started it or who escalated it or kept it going. It's an arguments and we'll leave it at that.

Thank you for agreeing to update the review. I have changed it to 3 star and you can go ahead and edit your comments as you see fit to more accurately describe your experience.

i edited the last section of this post here which i feel gives a more clear line of thought as to why things escalated and why i feel ultimately this warranted such a negative review, was not expecting you to read it so quickly lol

i should also clarify, that i never ever wanted to tell him how to run his business, or how to do payment, i only felt that he was not being honorable in his actions, both honoring his rules, and showing consistency and respect, one of the reasons why the blind underbid comment came up, was because he did not reply to me at all after he requested me to fill out that sheet, which took me over an hour, and refusal to discuss any actual prices, so me bringing it up, felt like a contextual thing that would normally lead to a neutral review, but added to an already bad experience to create an even worse one.

i would prefer not to make the review neutral, unless he edits his rules to show that communication protocols are to be followed. this is a very serious problem, and the attitude and hostility towards rectifying it is very bad, i feel that this will only encourage miscommunication further and create more issues down the road.

i understand if you disagree, however

i feel the issue is not resolved until those rules are shown or discussed in chat beforehand, because my issue is systemic, its damaging and it will hurt other employees.

also, payment was not sent one minute after paypal was given, it was sent hours later, i gave him my paypal at 9:24 AM

I recieved payment at 9:56 PM.

12 hours..

Reading through this im actually noticing theres a lot of misinformation provided by epicboost

proof here:

i apologize in constantly updating this, theres a lot of things going on here.
