Ok, this one is a doozey.
I bought an account with a now unobtainable mount, a legendary item, and 2 of the most expensive trading card game pets for 800$. This was almost a year ago. I played the account with no problems for about 4 months, got the account hacked and then it was suspended.
I bought the account from a guy who wasnt the original owner, but knew him. I told him the account had been suspended and he tried to call blizzard to get the account back, no dice. He then had the original owner call and they told him they had reason to believe the account had been sold and supposedly deleted the account. So I was pretty much screwed since I dont have the original owners info and cant get in touch with the guy who sold it to me.
Now a few days ago, just on a whim, I attempted to create an account with the original battlenet email used on the account that was deleted and it let me create a new battlenet account with it, that had all my information in it.
I sent an email to blizzard telling them I dont have access to the original email, but I am the owner and would like to get the account back. They sent me 3 different emails back.
The first one stated that I needed access to the original email address i created the battlenet account under, or if I didnt have it, I could call billing and get that switched.
The second one was some stupid customer survey one.
The third one however was interesting. It said that the original WoW account name, was now associated with a battlenet account that didnt have the same owner information. It said I had to provide a drivers ID and I had to fill out this form proving I am the original owner.
So, now I guess Im screwed again. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get this account back, or is it toast?
