Alright, so this has happened to me twice. The first time it happend I did a full scan using Microsoft Security Essentials and it found nothing...

Basically what's going on is when I click a link (both have been from imageshack) I get a message (as shown in the image) saying that my computer is at risk and to do a scan press okay. Both times I've clicked the red X but it still brings me to this page where it says it's scanning for viruses and it shows a bunch of trojans, worms, etc...

Any suggestions as to what this could be or why my spyware isn't picking it up if it is a virus?

(P.S. I've only had one virus before and it was some fake spyware that kept saying everything was "infected.")

These are one of the most annoying and hard to get rid of pieces of malware ever.
Few tips on closing the popups, without clicking the little "X" at the top right corner of it, since those hold most nasties in them if the author knows how to do it.

- Alt F4 out of popups ( if you can )

A simple rollback won't fix this, it's wriggled its way too deep into the registry, your best bet is to backup anything you can from SAFE MODE, not normal running mode ( otherwise you might backup an infected file )
After you back everything you need up, just do a fresh install of your operating system, takes 15 minutes, and then just move everything you've backed up, back on to the computer.

PS: A nice tool for removing malware, is "Malwarebytes"
