Hello everyone here on Epicnpc. I am a long time WoW player and would like to begin safely buying and selling more accounts. I have spent the last month or so reading many threads here on epicnpc and would appreciate if the community could provide feedback on the following.
Steps for buying safely to avoid characters/accounts from being recalled:
Purchase accounts from members who are well repped and epicnpc / trustwho verified. Make purchases with paypal to utilize fraud measures offered. Would visa company fraud department be able to help if you are scammed for some reason while making a purchase?
Require scan of original account holder drivers license.
Obtain email address / login name and password.
Obtain security question & answer.
Change email address.
For extra measure one could utilize the middleman service.
To my knowledge you could also create an new account with new cd keys using the same first and last name of the purchased account as blizzard will not reverse transfers to the same last name. Is this accurate? I also read you could call in and have blizzard deactivate the old account, claiming privacy concerns? Can not confirm if this works or not and would love it if someone could shed some light for me.
Beyond that you could go one step further for that added but unlikely foolproof method of then getting an account name change and merging into a different battle.net.
If there are more steps or people wish to expound with further details, that would be great.
I will follow this thread with another regarding questions and concerns on the selling side of things.
