Need advice

Hi, I recently bought a WoW account from someone on this site. It was about 2-3 weeks ago and everything was fine, apart from the fact that he did not send me proof of identity.

So today I was playing on the account and got a whisper from a GM, saying this was an abnormal account and that I should go to a website, accountwow. cn. I tried to do this but got an answer that said something like, We are unable to find this website.

What should I do now, do I report this, or what. Would be happy to see what any Admin here would say. Thank you.

No real GM would send you a link to a website like one you posted above. Either that was a fake GM message or you're trying to advertise for that website. I removed the link.

Ignore that message. It was not from a real WoW GM.

Its a known scam. It just happened to coincide near your purchase. Its all over wow forums of users getting pm from fake gm’s. NEVER go to the website and never put in any information. If you put in any information or visited site run malwarebytes and or virus scans then change all the wow account information and email.
