Need a quick rundown on the new account buying process (Battle.net)

Hello all, sorry if I made a somewhat similar post, but I was hoping one of the vets could shed some light on the new process to securely buy an account (I am planning to do a local transaction with another member).

Do I have the person unmerge the account first? Should I keep the new battle.net account in the owner's name (granted I will be getting a scanned ID)

To follow up the latter point, I don't see why putting the battle.net in my name will affect anything, however all of the necessary info will be on hand ie. cd keys etc. to prove my ownership.

Thanks in advance, I hope to get this resolved so I can work on getting w/in glad range asap!

Unmerging the account in unnecessary and I would advise you keep all the contact information the same if you are getting an ID scan along with the account.

I always advise my customers to leave the contact information intact. This is due to possible red flags being raised by Blizzard if they see the contact information being changed, different credit cards etc. It is always a safer bet to just leave it the same.

When buying the account make sure you get all this information so you have full access once you pay for it. Also make sure you get an ID scan matching all the contact information on the account and then make sure it matches a verified Paypal address as well.</span>
