Hello there, was just wondering if there was any way to check name availability before paying $5 to change my name, would definitely suck if i paid and wasn't able to get the name i wanted. Thanks!

edit - well i went ahead and purchased the username change anyways only to find out the name is not available, is there anyway to take inactive users names? (im talking about someone who has never posted and hasn't been active for 12years)

Maybe the ability to use an inactive username could be purchased with credits, that'd serve as a nice sink for them.
