my threads close itself

i need some info about threads. i just notice if i post someting in my thread it will switch automatically "closed thread". if i bump, it doesnt happen like that. are my threads having problems? or is there an expiration period on threads like those?

Threads get auto locked after 2 months.
Currently, the only way to edit them is to bump.

If I unlock a thread that hit the timer to auto lock. I have to post and reopen to get it to stay open. Bump with out reply does not keep it open i dont think.

Bumps will keep it open.

Threads autoclose after 60 days of inactivity.

To reopen a thread after 60 days, you have to first bump it to reset the time stamp, then click "Administrate" and select "Open Thread".

The "administrate" option is only available to Verified members. Just an FYI for everyone else, you will have to contact a mod to reopen an inactive thread.

thank you. i was a bit confused by this.

update :
1. i bumped the threads and they did reopen.
2. after it was opened i tried to post a reply on the thread, but it failed. it says "sorry the thread is closed".

The thread will still auto close after you bump. After you bump, click "Administrate" and select "Open Thread".

The "bump evade" store item won't work on closed threads.

Above that there is a "Next Bump - Now - Click to Bump" button, click that to bump.

I see your thread is opened anyway, so I guess you figured it out ​
