My Fortnite account was recently deactivated. I have all the info to reactivate it, but they said the account was permanently deactivated. I don't know if they're saying that for security reasons or not, but I need some ideas on how to reactivate it

It's going to be difficult if they won't tell you anything about why it was banned in the first place. You need to find out if it was for cheating/exploits or if it was for suspicious login activity.

They actually did, they somehow knew the account was sold so I’m pretty sure the account is gone at this point

The seller posted too much information in the sale thread. Especially the tracker URL which shows the username.

If someone reported the account and EpicGames did some basic searching, they would be able to see the account was listed for sale.

Usernames should never be posted in the sale thread. This type of info should only be sent privately to the buyer or in the TG chat.


I recommend opening a dispute against the seller. Most likely some sort of partial refund will be decided once you post enough evidence to show the account is indeed banned.

I mean the thread I opened about the account. It was giving me the server error then eventually posted but I checked like an hour later and the thread was gone
