Music Artist Akon (konlive.com) - Paypal account hacked

We normally don't post things like this, but this is the first time we've ever seen a celebrities Paypal account used on our site.

The music artist and producer Akon, Aliaune Thiam, seems to have been hacked on August 7th, with two Paypal payments being made on our site.

Both payment came from akon [at] konlive.com with the name on the account matching to Akon's birth name Aliaune Thiam. Both payments have been disputed as "Unauthorized transaction" and we have issued refunds to Akon for the two claims.

Just thought it would be something interesting to post.

Not a very good way to cash out a stolen pp.

Just an upgrade and some credits. It was only $15 total so not much, but I'm sure they probably bought things on other websites.
