MMOBay Verification System & TWV

MMOBay is proud to announce the MMOBay Account Verification system. This is a verification system similar to the TrustWho system that we have been using up until now, however starting today we will no longer be using TWV as our main verification system.

Our new verification system will do more than just verify someones information to see if it is accurate. We will also compare all information and cross reference it against our vast member databases, on both our forum and auction site, to determine if the user is a known scammer.

We believe this new verification process is a step up from the old system and will benefit the community by making this a safer place to buy, sell and trade virtual property.

We will still honor TW verifications and anyone that is currently TWV will not be affected. We will just no longer be advertising their service.

Glad to see mmobay are actively trying to protect their members. I really love these forums, I got an infraction but im not going away.

Was just wondering, since TWV isnt being sponsored here anymore, if I wanted to become a verified member of mmobay what would I do?

This may be a dumb question, but working everyday since boxing day so im abit braindead.

Just want to know so I can get myself verified as I meant to get TWV ages ago!

awesome but i have to be 18 to have a pay pal but im not 18, what do i do? cause i have a passport i can use but it wont match the age i used to make a paypal. Thanks

Paypal does not give out peoples age, so I that wouldn't effect someone getting verified. Just make sure the passport you send matches the phone number and IP address. If you passport is from Canada, IP from US and phone number from UK, your going to fail verification.

MMOBay Verified and TWV accounts will now have bold usernames so people can easily see who is verified and who is not without having to click into the thread or profile.

I would ask you to provide more info before passing or failing you. If your phone and IP are US but your ID is from another country, I would probably ask for your Visa or some other form of ID, like a cable or electric bill.
