I concur with Sakura's opinion.
A flexible system is always ideal. Objectively, the purpose of the temp ban would be to hasten the refund process/ensure that the refund is provided.
The deal between FancyMMO and asinayogi was 500 and another 500 in 2 weeks. If FancyMMO was temp banned and instead encounters trouble earning that money due to the ban, wouldn't it be counterproductive for asinayogi? No money gets returned and Fancy gets banned.
With Fancy's reputation, it's hardly likely that he's simply stalling for 2 additional weeks before taking a ban.
As such, there's no reason in temp banning Fancy other than the want to conform to the rigid system by doing what's perfunctory. If asinayogi is agreeable to it, I don't see why there should be any complaints.
Even in the court of law, there are always mitigating factors(circumstances, intentions etc). Fancy has been legit and we should give him the benefit of doubt when he claims that he's been incredibly sick recently.
Your concerns are valid if the circumstances and people involved were different.
By your logic, your persona on the forums is the opposite in person. You must be pretty oppressed to have to vent your frustrations on this forum. Oh, as well as your constant posts to remind everyone how logical and intelligent you are... I shan't say what the opposite of it is as you like to delude yourself on how everyone is in awe at every single post you make.
We appreciate the initiatives to improve the forums, though they're seemingly merely shots at glory. What you suggested is hardly criticism, though I'm sure you'd like to paint it in that light.
I guess I'm one of the rare few that bothers reading your posts.
