What is the dispute about?: Purchased multiple accounts from Deepcool01 and everything was working well. However, one of the accounts purchased was stolen from me. The email, password, social media, and mobile number all unlinked and changed. I did not receive any notification via text or email saying that login details were changed. I tried logging into the game 11/8/20, and everything stopped working. Seller said he could not do a refund, as that is his policy, but was willing to give me an old account that I purchased from him and traded back with cash for a new account (the $150 value one). I accepted the account, but later decided a $50 refund was more appropriate. Seller made about $200 from me, and I thought a $50 refund was reasonable as a account worth $150 was just stolen from me. Seller refused to refund for either accounts, which is understandable, as he probably thinks I am trying to scam him which I am not. I think seller may have sold me a stolen account and I should be compensated in some form.
Other details / notes:
A few things concerned me about the purchase of this account (a genshin account with Venti, Diluc, Qiqi, Jean worth $150). On the day of the purchase, and after linking account to my email, I noticed 2 days ago on 11/6/20 that someone had tried to log in to my account multiple times on 11/4/20 presumable after I had purchased it. Someone also with the username "jce00" also contacted me saying that the account was stolen and resold to me. I wasn't quite sure what to do about these messages, so I just ignored him, thinking it's possible a scammer. So fast forward to today 11/8/20 and I don't have access to my account, and all login info changed, I decided it was wise to create a dispute here. Something that also seemed off to me was that Deepcool01 changed his discord username to "Ronin." from the original "Deepcool Marketplace" or something like that.
Seller agreed to give me my old account that traded back to him as a compensation for my account being stolen and here is proof of that. (Deepcool changed his discord display name to Ronin"
