Masked Armory -- HUGE CHANGES -- Introducing Title, Mount, and Companion Lists!
Good day ladies and gentlemen.
On August 2, 2011, Blizzard will be decommissioning the old WoW Armory site which every anonymous WoW armory profiler works off of. You will see that almost of every one of them will break if they have not kept current with the news of the data stream change.
Well, at least you know you are in good hands here. I have been working with the new Battle.net Armory API for the past several weeks and have JUST NOW pushed out the newest version of Masked Armory!
PLEASE NOTE: All prior Masked Armory profiles that have been created prior to 7:15pm PST on July 31, 2011, are still working just fine. The data for those armories still exists and is not going anywhere. However, feel free to create a new armory profile if you would like to take advantage of all of the new Masked Armory features!
Masked Armory Changes:
I thank you all for your support over the past year and am glad to see Masked Armory continue to be your #1 choice for all of your Anonymous WoW Armory profile creations!

Masked Armory Changes:
- Now runs off of the Battle.net Armory API. No longer pulls data from the deprecated WoW Armory.
- Introduces Mount, Title, and Companion listings! The first anonymous on the market to do so! All titles/mounts/companions will be listed in alphabetical order just like in-game! PLEASE NOTE: The Mount/Companion listings are not complete as Blizzard has not completed the data streams for them as of yet. I will have these up as soon as the data stream becomes available!
- Shows Average Item Level Equipped (FOR EACH GEAR SET THAT YOU HAVE!) and then the Average Item Level overall. This will really help buyers figure out purchasing decisions a bit quickers!
- Gear set bonuses are now shown. In the past, showing tier set bonuses was impossible because of a huge descrepancy between the WoWHead and WoW Armory bonus IDs. That has been rectified and they are now showing up perfectly!
- Reputation listings are now in alphabetical order by the ranking of the reputation. If two reputations have the same reputation ranking, they will be sorted alphabetically!
