He's trying to sell a Warrior which he claims to have the correct last name. Tried the last names he gave me and they were wrong. Scammer.

I already responded to you in my warrior thread but I will do it here too.

He accused me of being a scammer for posting the thread I posted. He trusted me enough to IM me. The whole convorsation just consisted of him telling me I'm a scammer. I didn't scam him. He told me I gave him the wrong last name. He checked this within 5minutes. It was when Blizzard was closed.

He's claiming to have inside sources, so he has someone who works at Blizzard Billing and they just randomly break the law and commit felonies so Gpxkp can check to see if a last name is correct. That is the only way he could have checked.
The name I gave is the right name.

I didn't scam you, but you posted Scammer in my rep thread. That's bull man.

This post proves you can make a trial to check if a last name is right. It's not hard to check the last name and the ones you gave me were wrong. BTW, why do you keep messaging me from alternative screen names?

So, gxpark1234, was the last name incorrect, or were you just attempting to transfer the character onto a trial account which is ineligible for character transfers?

Have you been able to verify the last name with blizzard? I'm sure if you called in with the last name spelled slightly off, you could claim there must've been a mistype when you created the account.

If you can verify the last name is even close to what you were given, I think the "potential scammer" title should be removed.

Levalon you just tried to scam me didn't you? He wanted to go on the account to see if it was there. When I told him I can show him in game he called me a scammer.

When I let him on and changed password he said,

I just want to settle this. I did not expect to be attacked for posting that thread. You guys all IMed me too, I did not contact any of you. I tried my best to make it clear I had no info.

Gxpark you called me a scammer because I couldn't speak on the phone. I didn't agree to your trading rules, remember you contacted me. I did not even ask for any of this.


You have made it to the point where no one will buy my accounts, why? What did I do to you? You messed up dude. Not me, your method of checking the last name isn't going to work. You have no proof it does anyway either.

I just think your assumptions got the best of you and you were angry for wasting your time with me. I apologize but I don't think I deserve for my rep to be completely destroyed.

Well, you're wrong, there is a way to check the last name without calling blizz and you got caught. Just admit it then I will let it go.
 
Dude I didn't get caught in anything you have info. Call them tomorrow and be like. Hey I forgot my account name.

They will ask you for the name on the account. Tell them what I told you and they will confirm. I promise you.
 
Atheyst looks to be in the clear here.

And I do know that a friend of his recently died who went to a school not far from me.

All I know is that I traded with Atheyst once and it went well, so as far as I'm concerned he's legit. But then again, I know personally when people refuse to talk on the phone in a trade and start making excuses like their phone isn't in service it puts up a lot of red flags.

The method of creating a trial account to check last name is LEGIT there is no "[censored]" in it. i do it for all my buys trades and sales. so yer gg
 
Well, this is just a big mess.

Atheyst is not a scammer. I know him well and know that he would never pull this crap.

I am of the belief that this ordeal can get resolved without resorting to this kind of public ridicule.

Hope that you two can work this out. I do not want to have to pay for the marriage counseling.

i spoke with him last night on vent.. and saw the toon.. yeah.. he seems legit.. i even messed with him.. and said i deleted it and messed with him...

First off reading that first post from Gx...Gx you came off as a ----head right off the bat dude, I would dropped any chance of trading with you right there, and after reading it you sounded like more of a scammer than he did.

All you people saying its weird he didn't want a phone convo, and was saying his phone was off, etc... If you read what he wrote to GX in the AIM log he says "Atheyst (10:58:15 PM): i dont have phone service i have ventrilo though" So he isn't trying to hide from talking to the guy. Seriously, i think he seems legit.
