Major Store update - cash system removed - thread items removed

We are making a major update to the store this week in two phases, phase one has begun today.

Phase 1

We are no longer using the 'cash' system and using credits only.

1 cash = 125 credits

Everyone who had 'cash' on their account has had it converted into credits already. Credits are also now purchasable at the same ratio above, 125 credits for $1 via Paypal.

I will be removing all the thread enhancement items that members have purchased tomorrow. (thread title colors, bold, underline, etc) Members who have purchased these items will be able to choose from one of the below refund options.

Purchased within the last 6 months

• 90% Paypal refund or 100% refund in credits

Purchased between 6 months and 1 year ago

• 50% Paypal refund or 100% refund in credits

Purchased over 1 year ago

• 20% Paypal refund or 100% refund in credits

Until phase 1 is completed, I will not actually delete the items from the site, instead I will just be turning them off. This way people can still see the items in their history and inventory incase people forgot what they purchased.

To receive your refund PM me saying if you want credits or a Paypal refund, then depending on your item purchase date I will issue a refund or convert it to credits within 24 hrs.
**Refunds are only available for thread enhancement items only. Thread title color, bold, underline, italics and the thread store removal item, which allowed members to buy a thread title color and remove it from the store so no one else could purchase it.


Phase 2

Phase 2 will begin most likely tomorrow or Friday. New items will be added to the store including thread title enhancements (colors, bold, etc) as well as bump and auto-bump items. These items will no longer be global affecting all of a member's threads, instead they will be used on individual threads. Because items will only be usable on a single thread, the cost will be much cheaper then they were previously.

More details will be announced later in the week.

Phase two has been rolled out.

All previous thread title enhancements have been removed on everyone's account and two new thread colors are available for purchase.

Green
Redish/Pink

I know there were more colors available before, however at this time only two will be made available.

Bump Evade Timer - This allows you to bump your thread before the 6 hour bump timer. You can use this item multiple times on the same thread. No posts are made when the thread bumps.
Auto Bump 10/30 Day - This will automatically bump your threads every 6 hours for either 10 days or 30 days. No posts are made when the thread bumps.


The new store has been tested extensively, however there's always a chance for new bugs to be found. If you happen to find one, please let me know or post here.

Question Mike : I purchased the Green Thread Title Enhancement for 500 Credits will that be applied to all my threads created or just 1 Single Thread. Also I noticed my enhancement purchase of the yellow thread title for 24$ is gone. I don't need paypal refund I would like the credit refund if possible.

Thread colors are for single threads now, not all threads.

2. I noticed that after I configure my thread color enhancement with a particular thread it did not work thread is still blue. I cannot configure it again for another thread since configure button is not their anymore. Only thing available is disgard. I don't know if that will remove it permanently.

1) Yes, you'll have to purchase a thread color for each thread separately and yes, they're permanent.

I had a decent amount of leftover cash but haven't checked my current credits as of yet. I also had 5 active threadds that took advantage of all being yellow underlined. I hope the refunded credit amount is enough to cover those 5 threads without cutting into my reserve credits from the leftover cash.

I was checking some of the forums to get a better view of the thread titles and how they looked with the new options. In D3 I found this showing the Green, Normal, and the Pink/Red





I am a bit hesitant of using the Pink/Red as it's a bit close to the "Banned" user name color.

I think the following would smooth out the system:
- Countdown timer in each thread for the # of days you have left for certain perks.
This helps sellers with lots of threads keep track of which ones they already have perks on and how soon until their next renewal date. If users forget if they already bought auto bump for an individual thread, they can simply open that thread and take a look at whether or not it has a timer going.

- Remove the purchase option for evade bump and auto bump from the cash store.
It becomes a little confusing when you purchase the perks directly from the cash shop and have to 'configure' each in your settings. Most users will overlook this detail and assume both perks are working automatically for them. Instead, force users to purchase thread-specific perks from the individual threads themselves.

- The title "Evade Bump Timer" is misleading and is grouped next to permanent perk options.
A first-time user could mistake this as meaning "bump timers are not every 6 hours, but instead maybe every 3 or 4 hours." When in fact it is just a manual bump. I made this mistake and purchased evade bump multiple times on each of my threads in hopes to use it alongside my auto bump perk.



I've been around for awhile and I had a moment of confusion when first using the new system. I accidentally bought duplicate auto bumps for two of my threads since I thought the first purchase did not sync. And now I am unsure if it added 30 days to each timer or simply replaced the first purchase. The system definitely charged me credits for each purchase though.

Purchased evade bump timer, and 30-day autobump through the Shop, but once I was on my thread it showed both as still being available to purchase.
So I clicked the items in my thread and it re-purchased the items. I'm unsure if I was granted 30 more days of access to auto bump, or if it replaced the autobump feature that I had just bought.



I think you should add something that shows which threads already have the auto-bump feature purchased, and a countdown timer inside the threads themselves so that sellers know which threads they have auto-bump enabled.
Currently it does not show if I already bought an auto-bump for a particular thread, so I accidentally clicked it twice and made a duplicate purchase.

Also "Evade Bump Timer" is misleading. Being a new system, as other users will probably assume, if we purchased both the Auto Bump and Evade Bump that we could have automatic bumps sooner than the 6-hour mark.
If it were called "Manual Bump" or "Bump Thread" then it would be a little clearer to the users about it being a one-time thing.

For the auto-bump items, when purchasing it on your thread page, it should automatically apply to your thread. For some reason it is not, we are working on getting this fixed.

However the items do appear in your Inventory page, so you can apply the auto-bump to whatever thread you want. If you accidentally purchased multiple auto-bumps and don't need some of them, just PM me and I'll remove the item from you inventory and add the credits back to your account.

So only I get this right (was afk this week):

That 500 Credits for purchasing a color perk would only affect "one" of my threads? And I would have to buy for each thread individually without the option to change it to another thread?
No matter if the thread lasts a day o a year? Sounds kinda creepy.

And it's not possible to pass credits? Like with the epic points you could pass between users. You had something like an "in-board currency interchange" and killed completely it for this... I don't even know how to name this

And the bumping thing will most probably get outta hand...

So.. I would like to have coins or credits or whatever to make my threads green again, just like they were before. Thanks!

@LorenorZorro; Yes, the thread title colors are now for a single thread instead of all threads. You bought your item over 6 months ago, but less than a year, so you're eligible for either a 100% refund in credits (3000 in you case) or a 50% refund via Paypal ($12)

The thread colors are permanent, but you can't change the thread once it's applied.

More options for credits will be coming out in the future, possibly the ability to transfer between accounts. I didn't want to add too many new features all at once incase there were bugs, which there are a few that we still have to fix. Once the store is running smoothly more features will be rolled out over time.

No, it never said forever. This is the description all the thread enhancements had

CANNOT BE COMBINED WITH ANY OTHER THREAD ENHANCEMENTS.
Turn the title of your threads [color] and [effect] for better exposure. This affects ALL threads.

Problem I ran into.

I just sold an account which I applied Green Title to and also 10 day Auto Bump to. Now I mark that thread as SOLD how would I figure out which green thread or auto bump to Discard so it does not keep bumping it.

I know I have to look for thread number but since I can't configure them I have no clue which auto bump is for which thread and which green is for which thread. Please let me know.

In your inventory if you hover over the item for about 1 second it will tell you the thread ID #. So basically when you find 660991 discard that item.
