My lvl 80 Mesmer(Grower) has basic armor never did much after dinging lvl 80 but he is PvP rank 24 and has nearly the full set of Orian Armor and Nightmare weapons/Molten weps. Build is fantastic, phantasmal critical explosion is what I like to call it, also have a lvl 1 Warrior but he has Orian Armor as well on sPvP.
