Thats not what i meant with "mounts" i mean mounts that i can trade with him/her

 

... If you recruit (not requit, lol) someone, then you're the one that will get the mount. Not the one you recruited.
The one you recruited will only get 7 days playtime and 300% bonus exp I believe.
