Is there an option for this to hide or remove for individual users?

I ask this not to be a shady dealer, but because we are a public forum and this function can help GameMasters track/connect/and identify purchases made with agreements and in-game amounts received as in RMT deals.

Just a request or suggestion.

Thank you

There's an upgrade available in the Epic Store that allows members to become invisible when visiting the forums. No one but mods and admins can see they are online and they appear offline for everyone else. Is that what you're looking for? It's 1000 credits or $8

The bottom left hand of your post. The yellow box that says Location Info.

Country: Brooklyn, United States
Hostname: xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.nycmny.fios.verizon.net

that information is quite incriminating on a few different levels and only assists MMO staff in identifying RMTs and Buyers.

I can only assume it is a board/forum or website setting.
Just a pretty bad one at that.

No that cannot be removed and is a vital tool to help members avoid and report scammers. The Location Info button reveals the City, State and Country of the member as well as the ISP info, which is the most important.

People that use proxies or VPN have an extremely high rate of scamming, probably 90-95% and they have to use proxies because most likely they have been banned before. This tools allows to members to see if the person they are talking to is using a proxy or VPN and if they are they can avoid them.

The tool can also be used when someones account is hacked. If a buyer or seller suspects something is wrong with the person they are talking to, they can simply check the Location Info of that members last post and from a post a week or two ago to see if the locations match. If they do not there is a possibility the account was recently hacked and is now being used to scam.

It also helps us because now that members can see this info, they report people using proxies much more often than when we didn't have this tool.

The tool is not perfect, but it is one tool of many that people can use to stay safe and I have to plans on removing it or restricting it. Sorry.

I can definately see the use and function of the tool. Just wish so much information was not public for non members. I.e. Game staff etc.

I appreciate your time and responses.
