Linking credit card to paypal

I need some help with a payment.

The seller is paying with credit card through paypal.
And how can i be sure with a message and through F&F that he won't charge it back?

Or am i safe with this?

He can charge back by contacting his cc provider, however if you make him send it as friends/family, he can't charge you back on paypal. If he does, paypal will go after him for the money

But even tho he cannot charge you back on paypal he can always still chargeback through his Credit Card and usually those are 100% wins. Also credit cards can chargeback as long as 6+ months.

You cant Charge back if you sent it with your pp balance as family/friends.. only way is unauthorized transaction which the person who payed will most definitely lose.

Happened to me before alot mate, They return the money right away and the buyer sent it to me as family and friends option... i don't know what's going on

Is it harder for them to refund/recharge if they put money on their paypal balance first?

So Paypal Balance -> to me
instead of paying instant through CC -> to my paypal

Balance in general is harder to recall in most disputes, with the addition of supporting digital transactions it might be lessened, the reason if they use their credit card to pay you even in their paypal account the cc company will stand up for them.
