First post here looking for a little help.

I'm planning on selling a world of warcraft character soon (Usual 2/5 T6 warlock.) And I've been reading around and looking for a little clarification on avoiding getting scammed and pricing.

Firstly and most important is about scamming. I'm planning on selling the chars via transfer (To another account/realm), since I'd like to do some things with the account, but don't want to hardcore raid anymore. Now as far as I'm aware from a buyers point of view they are safe, since a transfer can't be reversed, and even if I do phone up blizzard and argue, since a transfer is only supposed to happen if you own both accounts, blizz will just argue that I should retransfer back (Since I am supposed to own both accounts)?

From a sellers point of view as long as I'm not stupid (You know letting the buyer 'try it out' lol.) the only thing I really have to worry about is charge backs. From what I've read Paypal takes the side of the buyer and Western union takes the side of the seller? I'd be trying to go with WU since a Char transfer is permanent, i can't just get it back by a secret question or something. Is there anyway to avoid getting charge backs? Or if they do chargeback be 100% covered (I'd prefer not to have to post pieces of paper over, since these people might live anywhere in the EU which could cost quite a bit)

As for the sale itself, anyone got any experience with transfer sales and/or how to run them?

Lastly what effects pricing? I can see that a base lvl 70 is around 50-100 GBP. Currently my char has 2/5 T6, 1100 Shadow DMG 20% crit odd, hit capped lots of rare recipes and stuff, Challenger and Hand of Adal ranks and around 600 Gold on a PVE realm. (There's other stuff but this isn't a sales page) Is 400-500 GBP realistic?

Thanks for your help in advance.
