Met a guy on this website where you can buy and sell video game items(epicNPC.com), and he described an amazing account that has a lot of cool items that are considered rare. I really loved the proposal, so I asked is it still available? He said yes for a price of $185 USD it can be yours. I said great how can I pay you? He said that his PayPal email address was [email protected] . I sent him $185 and he sent me the steam account information. After I logged in I saw that there were some features disabled for breaking Steam’s Terms of service. He messaged me back and asked if I could help him with a problem. I said “yeah man, what’s up?” He said that he was unable to withdraw money from his current PayPal account and could he send the money back for me to send it to a second PayPal email address which is [email protected] . So he sent me back $92.50 and I sent it to the PayPal email address, then he refunded me the other half. I tried to send it to the email address but due to security I couldn’t. So I contacted PayPal to let the agent know that it was me sending it. She stated that she tried to override the security system to send the money but it didn’t allow her, and she’s afraid if she keeps trying it will lock my account, I told him that “I’m gonna try to send it back to the first email again. Do you have another email I could send it to? Or phone number?” He said that his friend has one [email protected] . I proceeded to send it back to the first email address. He said no don’t send it back! So he refunded me $92.50 again from the first PayPal email address. Then he said again “send it to [email protected]“. So I sent the $92.50 to that email address and it worked and let me send it without the security feature stopping me like before. Then he asked if he could refund me the other half which is $92.50 from [email protected] for me to send it again to [email protected] . So by this time I already sent him $92.50 now he wants me to send the other half that he just refunded. So I did. Then two days later I start searching the site and discover people stating that the seller is a scammer and that he contacts steam support a few weeks later to get his account back. Then more people are stating how he’s a scammer. So I contacted him and asked for a refund and stated how uncomfortable it made feel buying his account. He told me to relax and assured me that everything was fine and that I am not going to be scammed out of $185. Then I contacted PayPal to file a claim, but while In a panic state I filled it under the wrong cause. Now 2-3 weeks later I received a text message from steam stating “ Steam Support has removed this number from the account lanceta5. Contact us if you didn't request this.” When I purchased the account, I used my personal information to receive updates. Then I proceeded to log into the account and the login and password no longer worked. I attempted to contact him on our original source of discussion which is the social media site Discord. It stated that I was blocked from making contact with him. I then reached out to PayPal for help with this scam, and they told me due to me sending funds to [email protected] as “friends and family” (which was sent with the intent that I the buyer couldn’t request a refund from the him the seller which is how he asked me to send him $185) that they are unable to help me in this scam dispute due to it not giving them an option to solve it. I was then given your website to contact for help. I have photographed evidence of every conversation that we have had, proof of sale, proof of transaction, and proof of the account being taken back by him that he originally sold to me. (this is an excerpt that has been sent to the FBI) Administrators are needed to ban this scammer please dm me and i can send you our entire conversation that we had through discord, and PayPal transactions. WHAT EVER YOU DO READER DO NOT BUY ANY ACCOUNT THAT HAS LOCKED TW SCORER ZOMBAS, ALPHA CAP, SEASON 6 AND 7 GC AND ESL MONTHLY ELITE TITLES. HE WILL OBVIOUSLY POST ON HERE WITH ANOTHER ACCOUNT PRETENDING TO SELL THE ACCOUNT. THIS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SOLD AND TAKEN BACK OVER 4 TIMES, I HAVE ADDRESS HISTORY AND PHOTOS OF PROOF, I CONTACTED STEAM TO SHUT DOWN THIS ACCOUNT PERMANTLEY, I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS UPDATED WITH MORE INFORMATION FROM THE FBI, IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE WATCH OUT.
