Maybe get a sticky on this until the problem subsides? Curse is one of the most trusted add on sites so I could see this blowing up should people not take precautions.

Do you know any specific addons/packages that come with these keyloggers? I have the Curse client for updating purposes and I have ~15 addons. I do run a mac, but in the rare event that my system does ever get compromised, I don't want to lose anything

Just run your addons in your user /Applications directory instead of the main /Applications folder.
