I've never tried selling any of my online accounts and would like to know more about how I would go about doing it. How would i receive payment, how would i know I'm really getting the money before I just give the account info away. Stuff like that. I have an archeage account that I'd like to sell but like I said. I don't want to screw it up and get scammed or something.

Well you need a paypal account or skrill or you need to determine a gift card you would want.
Most scammers that are banned prey on new sellers like you, so you need to do a few things.
The person must post in your thread with their skype, i suggest using skype as its the safest if your careful. when they add you on skype right click their username there and hit profile check that name against what they post look for added periods or spelling errors.
