iTrader Feedback System Update

An update has been made to our feedback system today which is intended to make it easier for members to give each other feedback, while at the same time preventing feedback abuse.

• New "Submit Feedback" button at the top of every thread.
  • Customers can now quickly find and give feedback to the seller. The link will also automatically include the thread URL.
• Thread titles now display in feedback.
  • When viewing someone's feedback, the thread titles will now display so members can quickly see what the feedback was given for.
• Feedback Restriction for new members.
  • Member can no longer give feedback to anyone until they receive one feedback from a current member. This is to prevent members from making fake accounts and giving themselves feedback. New members will first have to receive 1 feedback from a current member, then they will be able to give feedback to others as normal.

hey mike, after clicking the submit feedback link i was brought to the feedback page but it does not automatically linked the thread url.

[HIDE=9999999999999]also, i did a test and i was able to leave a feedback for myself (refer to my latest feedback) i am not sure if its the same for normal member but i thought i would just highlight it.

This is the one flaw I see

i think you can make the system to flag the action when members with no previous feedback score try to give "feedback" to each other. well ofcourse it will be more work on admins side. This way, honest "new member" can still earn their reputation and naughty ones will be caught red handed.

They can't, this was specifically a scenario we wanted to stop. A new member now needs to first get a feedback from a current member first if they want to use the feedback system.

so the only way for 2 new members to have feedback only by using middlemen, that way MM can give both new members a feedback. is that correct?

Yes, a middleman can be used. Once the sale is over, the MM would give both new members feedback, then they can each exchange feedback.

Is it possible to like when you are on someones profile, click feedback and get a drop down menu with the last 5 threads created by that person?

If you're viewing someone's profile, you can just click the "Latest Started Thread" to view all their threads.
