Diablo II: Resurrected will launch in less than 3 months, on September 23! Multiplayer open beta will start in August and will feature 5 classes - without Necro and Assa.

D2R will be released on Windows, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, and Nintendo Switch with one global server and 9 game modes. Game will receive overhauled graphic and several quality of life improvements but other than that, it will remain the same game we all love!
We will sell items and services as soon as D2R goes live with leveling and accounts available for pre-order before launch day.

The most important features will include:
- Saved progress across all platforms, which means that you will be able to play the same character on any device but cross play will not be possible (if your friend plays on Xbox, you must also have Xbox).
- Up to 4k resolution with new 3D graphic and recreated cinematics. You will be able to switch between old and new graphics as old Diablo 2 engine will always be running in the background.
- New and improved audio with most of the original sounds remaining the same.
- Bigger and shared stash, which will allow you to easily transfer items between your characters.
- Quickly move items between stash and inventory.
- You can link items in chat.
- Item tooltip comparison.
- Character sheet shows all stats that gear gives.
- Vacuum gold pickup, which you can enable/disable.
- Automatic partying.
- Modernized UI for friend list and lobby.
- If you have Hell access, you will be able search for games of lower difficulty as well.
- Shorter Ladders, possibly 3 months long.
- Characters will not expire anymore.
- You will be able to use any character name you want because of the modern battle#tag system.
- Uber Tristram and Diablo Clone events will not change (that's how Torch and Anni are farmed).
- Single Player (Open Battle.net or TCP/IP) will work the same, you can buy items now and then import your save file to D2R once it's released.
- Ability to report players for toxic behavior or cheating.
- Wrong or bugged tooltips will be fixed.
- Controller will be supported on PC.
