Is it safe to sell a character off an account?

So I have an account with a lot of different alts, and someone wants to buy one off of it and he wants picture ID and the whole sha-bang, naturally. I have very little experience with selling accounts so I'm just wondering is this safe?

Will my main account still be safe from the buyer recovering it so long as he doesn't have the SQA? If the account is ever investigated will Blizzard think it's suspicious?

I had sorta a similar deal (10 80s) and I ended up selling 4 off separately and the others all together, didn't have any problems personally - if you're responsible for making the account it's being transfered to, I'd recommend not using the same sqa, obviously....but aside from that I don't think there should be an issue. As for blizz..they'd probably find a lot of things that happen on this forum suspicious if they investigated, lol. I don't see why they would ever give your main account information to the holder of a secondary account that one character was transfered to, so you should be alright there.
