The 990X is still ranked as the 3rd best CPU on the market to this day, beating out the 2500k, 2600k and even 2700k. It only falls behind the new Sandy Bridge Extreme CPU's.
This is what is considered a "Golden Chip" meaning it is capable of higher overclocks at lower voltages than other CPU's of it's kind. It was water cooled all of it's life and has only been at 4.6GHz @ 1.5V for a couple of hours for bench testing purposes.
It is in 100% working order and I will guarantee it from DOA.
I will sell the chip and motherboard as a combo for 500+shipping.
you will find these on ebay used is 700+ shipping.
This is a steal but I am simply looking to recover some cost as I am in the middle of building a new rig.
I also have various water cooling parts and DDR3 for sale if you are interested.
