Are you guys serious? You can't help me create a guideline for being scammed, you guys can only "ban" them from the site?
That ban does nothing if they walked out with a large amount of money. Mind as well I just scam too since you guys won't do anything to assist the scammed besides just banning a free account?
All i'm asking for is help on how to talk to paypal to reason and win with them on a purchase that Paypal does not care about (game accounts).

We can't force someone to pay you back if they've scammed you. The best we can do is ban them from the site and be pro active about keeping them from coming back.
It's a good idea to be very careful who you deal with. I personally always assume something can and will go wrong with sales and trades.

Paypal will tell you virtual items are not covered by their protection plan. Because of this reason, It's smart to fund ALL your purchases with a bank or credit card (Do not spend from paypal balance).
In the event something like this happens, all you need to do is contact your card company or bank, dispute the charge, and continue on with your daily events.
Letting the matter sit in the hands of Paypal is not generally the quickest or most efficient way to get your money back.

What do i do about unauthorized payment?

They would probably shut down my credit card am i correct?

If it's un-authorized than they would most likely investigate pretty deep, or they would contact my credit card, than request do disconnect it.

I have never done an un-authorized dispute before, so I do not know if i'm going to be digging myself a deeper hole and be exploited for submitting a "fake" dispute.

Nope, just tell them you bought something and it ended up being fake and you need your money back. Don't lie to your bank/card company.

I don't really follow what you're saying... Bought something but it ended up being fake? That's not a un-authorized transaction though.

No, It's not. Unauthorized would be someone else buying something with your card.
I've disputed quite a few things I bought with paypal and funded with my bank debit card, If something goes south I just call up my bank and say hey I wanna dispute this charge I did not get what I paid for the product was no good or whatever the case may be. Again this is only if you fund things from your bank or credit card, if you pay from your balance you're at the mercy of paypal's dispute system.

You can try both. I have never had any "system" on how to win a PP dispute and have a 50-50 win/lose record so I can't really provide you with any tricks on how to win.

My suggestion is to first file the dispute with Paypal and say the item you purchased was not received. Once you do that it's basically out of your hands and in Paypals. Depending on if you win or lose you can then contact your Bank and file a new dispute stating the payment was unauthorized. I've never done this so I can't really give you any pointers, but I have done credit card chargebacks before and it's fairly simple, so I imagine it would be similar for a bank dispute.

Once the bank reverses the payment, that will leave your Paypal account in the negative, so make sure to withdraw all funds first as you will most likely lose your PP account after the bank reverses the payment. Although I can't confirm if that's the case 100% of the time.
