Hi. The exact discords of these two profiles have added me and attempted to scam me. They were able to confirm the message I sent to TAKI. They both refused to message me on the website.

Those are both impersonators. If you copy and paste their discord ID from their threads and add them they will be different discord accounts. The discord creation dates do not match their real discord IDs either.

How was he able to confirm the message I sent to him on EPIC?
They typically are messaging the legitimate person with another discord account to set him up into sending a random 5 digit number to them but it was a message that you had sent.

So in that case is the "legitmate" account of the person attempting to scam me banned since you can pinpoint who it was?
If they have an EpicNPC account then they will be banned. However, typically they will have the conversation on discord the entire time.

Using codes or keywords is not a good form of verification.

I feel like there's an immense flaw here. Why would Taki verify a number sent to him on discord to another discord account if that code was sent by someone that didn't reach out to him on the website. I feel like members can be scammed left and right because of this.

I will PM you how this entire scam works as it was commonly used before we banned any disputes via discord.
