well its still 1,5 month to enjoy full crafting exeprience and skip card farming..

and the gear is full poetics gear so its good enough for end game raiding.
And if u want to get coil gear its pretty easy now..

I think it's more likely people who know about how FFXIV progression works know that as soon as the expansion comes out everything on the account (excepting accrued job levels) will become instantly redundant. An i129 gear set is great if you're going straight into Alexander in 3.0, but anyone intending to do that already has game experience, and (presumably) a geared toon. New players won't be gunning straight for the new endgame, and so old endgame gear is moot.

It's a shame SE decided to go the route of vertical progression. I miss the days when a Ridill would set you up for the next half-a-dozen years... :(

Having said all that - this account has everything but Coil gear; which means it has all the man-hours put into PVE grinding (Lucius tools; job levels; chocobo levels (?), achievement points, etc). So to anyone looking to pick up an account, especially as a new player: you could do a whole lot worse than this one right here. Don't get drawn in by accounts which offer very little but Coil gear, as it will be worth zilch in a month's time.
