Ignorant people who don't understand anything (Especially respect)

So I had this guy message me today about Chadwick "screwing" him over, I told him to give it sometime and that he may be busy. Here's the convo:

btraillMD: So he hasn't screwed you, you just need to talk to him.

btraillMD: I honestly don't know, he's a good guy. He hasn't "screwed" you yet, people get busy. He may have not seen the messages yet. You are being quick to call him a scammer.
btraillMD: and I can guarntee you that he will not risk his md account being banned over this, he will get back to you.

Now what I want to talk about is how he insulted the admin and moderation at markeedragon, and how they don't ban scammers. That pisses me off entirely, these people don't devote their lives to these boards people, they are volunteers who are trying to clean up the community. When they see valid proof of a scammer, not just some grudge or a guess! These people also have stress from real life jobs, do you think they like it when they come here and have to deal with drama and hundreads of threads? They come home to relax, not deal with more work! This guy from the above aim convo really doesn't understand any of this. Time and time again, people say that the admin at MD don't ban scammers, they do, every single day.

Anyways, enough of my rant, I'll add more later. I really need to get some rest, been up for 2 days straight.

Btw, I posted 4 times I was going to be out of town from Friday to Monday, those were the last posts I made I believe. I'll handle this as well as other things that popped up over the weekend as quickly as I can.

I know Chadwick is a legit guy, especially with his rep. I dont understand why people cant understand that IRL issues come up as well.

Same thing happened to me, I told all my customers I had to leave for an IRL emergency to visit my mother and I got messages the whole trip. They were posting on my thread wondering if I went out of business because I hadnt been online the WHOLE DAY...lol

With that said, people that use the IRL comes first statement really shouldnt be doing business. We all agree [censored] happens. If you're selling an account and the guy paid for it.... isnt the Money "IRL Money"? Many people are quick to jump the gun, especially people that pay a substantial amount of money for something thats virtual. You can not fault them for that.

There are people in this world that get pissy after spending 2 dollars on a Mc Donalds value meal and waiting in the drive through for 3 minutes.

It isnt about being able to be accessed, its about a person having peace of mind. Leave an away msg, have a auto response in your email. Nobody likes being left in the dark. People are serious about there money. If you have things you have to deal with, sleep, school, family, vacation, its your life and your right to live it... but if the people that you do business with havents a clue about those matters; you risk backlash when something goes sour.

You're right in the real world of business but online especially on a softcore level, you're missing some logic. People on MD aren't here to professionally sell services, sure they are good at it and may do it for some side cash, but their life doesn't depend on it (usually). People need to learn that life isn't perfect, we don't live in an utopia. You also fail to see that both of the users Ex and Chad stated in their threads or posts that they were going away.

I can definately say that the admin here on MD do an absolutely great job, despite there RL stuff. "Ummsure" makes a valid point about money being a big deal, but its still unfair to expect an instant reply.

Accounts could get recalled YEARS later. It's unfair to say that the seller should immediately be there.

For example, lets say i sell an account to you, and you have had it for 5 months now. I go on vacation for 2 weeks. The best thing I can do is put it as my away message to let people know I'm on vacation and your just going to have to sit tight till I'm back.

Doesnt matter that we dont live in a utopia. If you didnt want to make money selling accounts, then you wouldnt be doing it. This has nothing to do with chadwick, and more to do with the... OMG I HAVE REAL LIFE STUFF GOING on. People are serious about there money.

People only panic when they feel left in the dark. The Admins do a great job here and this place is really cleaning up.

I handled this situation as soon as I was back. It's unrealistic to expect me to be available 24/7. I had a trip planned to backpack the Linville Gorge is Western NC, and I took off to do so. It was my away message, my voicemail message and I posted here several times that I was leaving. I understand that people expect good service, and I go out of my way to take care of the people that trust in me to keep things rolling for their gaming experience, but I'm not superman, and sometimes I drop the ball on things just due to the sheer volume of contact I have daily. Plus, I have a real job and a family to juggle. I think I do quite well juggling tbh about it.

The point of this ramble was just relax a bit, noone can be available 24/7. I could hire an operator that would be just as worthless as me being unavailable, but that would just make my prices higher


As a side note, what the guy contacted Btrail about wasn't even my fault, but another user of these forums. I was the one that got stuck on the hook, and compensated my customer for it immediately upon return.

Hahah bro, I'm not faulting you at all nor were my comments towards you. Its just often enough people try to use the words real life, like its a different thing. Just because you're selling online, doesnt mean its not real life. Or when I read things like, people on MD arent here to sell professional services; When in fact a lot of people are. If there werent people being professional, then there would be no way to tell the the difference between the average buyer/seller and someone who is serious about it.

EDIT: How the heck do people get 50 post in a few days, I have 28 post in almost 2months, this makes me very sad face.
