i need help with paypal- someone made a claim when buyin

hello i sold my account to someone who i thought was trustworthy

i requested 200 dollars from them and waited for them to accept then send it to my bank account.

then the next morning i get a paypal message that says they reversed the money move to the bank and the resolution case says



Inquiry by PayPal

Temporary Hold


I am not sure if this is was caused by paypal or the buyer but i do not have a money or account now. it could be just made by paypal because it doesnt say Inquiry by "user" but i am not familiar with what it would say if it was made by the buyer.


do you think this is a scam?

PayPal sometimes puts a hold on payment until the buyer receives the marchandise. As far as I know, hold are usually for 21 days, or until the buyer claims that he received the marchandise (Usually by leaving feedback on eBay).

I would'nt be affraid as this is a safety process by paypal.

If you do receive a chargeback or unauthorized transaction, that's different tho.
