How to buy/sell an account safely?

I will use as examples Person1 and Person2.
From what I understood:
1) Person1 sells an account to Person2 through Paypal; Person2 can open a dispute on Paypal and take his money back.
2) Person1 buys an account from Person2 with Bitcoins; Person2, after receiving the Bitcoins, can simply say "bye bye", without giving his account.
3) Middleman can also scam.
My question is in the title.

To address #3. Our MM are long term members who have been here for years, are verified by us and have outstanding reputations. The chances of the MM scamming your are next to zero.

However all scammers will claim they were scammed by a MM, not just Epicnpc, but all sites that offer MM. This is basic procedure for them. A scammer has to convince the buyer or seller to not use the MM, so they will always say they don't trust MM. This is done to convince the buyer or seller to do a direct trade, otherwise it's much more difficult for the scammer.

Using a MM also solves #2 .

About #1, yes, if Paypal is used, the buyer has the option to dispute payment within 180 days of purchase. Using our MM system, the buyer and seller can use any payment method they want. If Paypal is too risky for you, you can use Bitcoin or something else that provides more protection as long as buyer and seller agree to the payment method.

Also if you do plan to use bitcoin, you can use our Bitcoin escrow service instead. We hold the bitcoin while the seller delivers the items to the buyer, then the bitcoin is released to the seller. The fee for Bitcoin escrow is much less than the MM service fee. Since we hold the bitcoin payment, a MM isn't needed.

I'd like the buyer to send money to the middleman, then the middleman send money to me (Paypal), in this way I'll be safe, is that possible?

Its unlikely you find a middleman willing to hold the money anymore, its extremely risky for the middleman. If you use the trade guardian escrow service then thats the same thing

Trade Guardian offers 3 services.

Middleman services
Credit trading
Bitcoin Escrow

Bitcoin escrow is the only service where we will hold the payment, however the buyer has to pay using Bitcoin. The seller can then cashout to Bitcoin or Paypal.

Credits are for trading only. We do not exchange credits for real money. This is meant for members that want to trade items ingame safely. They trade an item for credits, then trade the credits to someone else for a different item.

That offers a protection to everyone, I guess, thanks.
I've read few threads in this forum and now I've a question about Paypal.
Is it safer to receive a payment with a gift or a normal payment with a note "I am purchasing a virtual item - item name, and I will NOT dispute or chargeback for any reason"?

Both gift and normal payment can be disputed. Gift is a little safer because it's harder to dispute, but neither provides full protection.

I'm not sure about the note thing, I doubt it would make a difference. If someone says their PP was hacked, the payment note won't matter.
