First off never speak to anyone on Skype or any other medium without their verification on the forums.
When you begin a conversation, ask them their EpicNpc name, and then have them post in your thread.
Once this is done it gives you the knowledge that they are indeed who they say they are as well as the opportunity to investigate their forum posts by clicking on their name, select "view profile", then select "all threads started by this user".
You can also click the link above for "Banned members" to see why someone was banned.
I strongly suggest you do this everytime to protect yourself as well as not falsely accusing another member.
