I'm about to go into a transaction (sell of WoW account) and i need to know if i have all my bases covered and i'm good to go.

- We are using Paypal. He claims to be Verified, I am Verified.

- He is sending the funds to my Paypal First, upfront.

- When the funds reach my PAYPAL i am giving him the Account Name and Password.

- Waiting 24 hours.

- Transfering funds from my Paypal to my Bank

- When Funds Clear at my BANK, i am giving him all security info.

Step's im thinking of taking (are these necessary)

Requesting his Name (First, Middle and Last)
Requesting his Location
Requesting him to call me from his Home
Looking up the number to confirm identity

Any Others? I want to have all my bases covered it goes down tommorow HELP!

He has agreed to this with no problems.

All scammers I've come across so far will NEVER give you time to get the funds to your bank because its too much hassle to get it back. From what I know a collections company will have to appear on your doorstep to find out why you are not paying the money for the claim the scammer issues on paypal (since you got the money into your bank where paypal can't get to it). Since this would take a long time to process and solve, my guess is most scammers would never try it. You're already more lucky than 90% of people on MD because almost every single person responding to your sell/trade/buy post is a scammer who would never do what you described above.

Edit: so far all I've gotten from trying to sell/trade here is a wasted 25 bucks and two nervous phone calls to blizzard.

I'd say you're in the clear if you manage to get all of his personal information, call him, and wait till your funds are in your account.

Wasn't there a post specifying that even if the fund has been trnasferred to your bank account, the other party can claim "fradulent activity"and have your pay pal balance go negative? I am not quite sure but I believe you can check that on that long entry about Pay Pal in this forum.
