How much safer do you become when you X-fer your char off to a new Account?

Hello,

I am just wondering how much safer you are if you transfer your character off to a new account. I've heard from some people that it's not worth it and they can still recall it even if you transfer it to a totally new account since they will trace your transfer, etc.

Thanks.

Re: How much safer do you become when you X-fer your char off to a new Account?

Usually What I do is I make a trial account with the same name as they give you and if it says it can not trade because its a trial then it is the correct name. If it says the name has to be the same then it is most likely wrong name that was given.

After you find out the correct name then transfer it to a new account. I always Ban the other account. I pick up a horrible speed hack that is easily dectectable ( Wont harm your other accounts if you delete it after its done. ) and I ban the other account. This was they can not recall the account and is more safe for you. Which is what your trying to do. Making a trade more safe. I have done this alot of times and never had an account recalled because of it. Though it was before battle.net

I'am that Battle.net might be a smart Idea to make a whole new battle.net and transfer it. Mainly because when you use the speed hack there could be a chance they ban multiple accounts on your bnet. I had a 3 hour ban for saying anus joke in trade and it banned the 2 other accounts on my battle.net as well. So be careful. When you make a new battle.net make sure you its the same name and such as I have stated. Also now that all accounts are most likely traded through battle.net unless you buy from a repped trader who has been saving accounts. So you do not want someone just taking the battle.net account after you spent the money to buy new keys.

Hoped it helped!
