Brief information
We recently received information that our web-server had suffered a data leak due to a security vulnerability in our web-server, we advise everyone changing passwords.
All of the passwords are hashed and salted, but it can be *******.
Security is one of our top priorities, therefore we separated our servers with steam accounts and web-server.
No steam account's has been leaked and all steam credentials are safe.
We want to reassure you that NO paypal or BTC Addresses payment information is stored with HourBoost.com account data.
What happened?
A hacker used an exploit in an old system laying on our servers, in order to gain access to our web server. Data that has been stolen includes usernames, passwords, email addresses and IP addresses.
The old system is deleted, and the security breach should be fixed.
All of the data is not going to be publicly available for everyone to download.
But some users will be able to get sensitive information from HourBoost.com.
What we did
In an effort to protect our users we have added a lot of extra security and things to prevent this from happening in the future.
What you need to do
Do not use your previous password, and change your passwords for other other services if you used the same password.
Apologize
At HourBoost.com we are committed to protect user's sensitive data. We are sorry and sincerely apologize we didn't manage to live up to that.
Our leadership team will closely monitor this issue and will do everything possible to earn your trust every day.
We will work aggressively to prevent these types of events from occurring in the future. Again, we deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause you.
