Ok im trying sell my account so say I have a buyer I give him login and password.

Then he sends money through paypal , after i see the money in my paypal account is it true that I have to wait 45 days before i can give him secent question answer? Because after 45 days he can no longer get the money back right? That would be the safest way?

He can still get the money back like 6 months after he sends it I believe...

You only have 45 days to dispute a payment on PayPal but most people aren't willing to wait 45 days just to get the secret question/answer. Your best solution is to ask them to send it as a gift payment because it greatly reduces the chance they can recall the payment.

45 days to open a PayPal dispute.
1-3 months to chargeback if they pay by credit card.
If you don't want to worry about being chargebacked, then make sure your buyer doesn't use a credit card to buy from you.

The 45 day limit is for PayPal balance only. After that you can't chargeback through PayPal but a claim with your bank if paid by CC or bank funds would initiate a more rigorous chargeback... unfortunately, with virtual goods, many times people win them. It's happened to me twice now.

Your best bet is to avoid PayPal at all costs.

I have been wondering if anyone agreed with me on that point for a long time. After looking for some other services and people only accepting paypal I wondered why. I have bought and sold accounts for a number of years and a couple of times it has went bad and despite giving paypal lots of information, emails, screenshots etc I always lost the case due to paypal always saying virtual items are not covered.
