Help with first sale pls

Hi all,

Im new to MD and I wanted to sell my gold on my acct b4 i closing it all together or sell it. But ive ran into some difficulty i need help with. I was contacted by 2 diff ppl today interested in buying some gold, but they kept on insisting that i give them the gold first and then they'll make a paypal payment. Both are new to md as well with no rep so I immediately refused, and they bailed. Since I dont have any rep yet, and havent done any buying/selling b4, how did some u start selling. Im obviously very hesitant to make an immediate sale for fear of being scammed, and so are the ppl that were trying to buy fr me (unless they were trying to scam). Need some advice to make my first sale, pls help. Also, if a prospective buyer agrees to pay first, do u ask for email right away to send them a paypal invoice? or do u give them ur paypal acct no. and wait for them to make a deposit? also do u ask for any other info like name and such?

Following the rules on that thread seems to put off buyers, is there anyway to do this without taking a huge risk on my part and just trust the buyer to pay once they get the gold?

if a buyer isnt willing to follow these steps, chances are they are up to no good and its not worth the risk.
