Help bumping thread

Hello, I'm new to the forums, and i just posted a thread on buy and sell USA accounts. And when i attempt to bump my thread to the top (quick reply) it just adds a post to my original post and my thread does not get bumped. How can I, being the Thread creator bump my own thread?? Am i missing something obvious or do i need to be a verified member to bump my own thread Thanks!
