So we know that there are many ways to make money while playing games, but sometimes we don't really know which style suits us or what the options are.

I wrote a guide on identifying the different play styles and how you can leverage on that playstyle to earn some money.

Nothing beats playing your favourite game and earning some money to reinvest in becoming a stronger player!

With over a decade of gaming experience, I have tested various monetization methods and will be sharing them in detail. You can read it here.

Which type of gamer do you identify most with and have you tried any of the monetization methods? Would love to hear your experiences!

I would say you have to look what works for you best. Just try out different ways and see what does the best. Especially in the beginning, before you get substantial follower count.
Or if you are doing good, just don't change anything. As they say, if it aint broke, don't fix it. :)

That’s a very insightful article, in my opinion. Thank you for sharing. I wish I had read something similar a few years ago. I remember having a similar discussion with my younger brother. He was about 14 years, and he asked me how he could earn some money. We went online and did some research on what could be his side hustle. He used to play video games and was pretty good at it, so he decided to make some money out of it. It worked really well for him. It also didn’t affect his result in school.

There are four types of gamers who can actually make money playing games. First, there are professional gamers who compete in tournaments and leagues for cash prizes. Second, streamers create content by playing games and earn money through donations and sponsorships. Third, casual gamers can make money by selling virtual items or in-game currency. And finally, game testers are hired by developers to test games before they are released. So, if you’re looking to make money while having fun, you might want to explore these options!

Thanks for writing this great guide! It's always helpful to know what our playstyle is and how we can use it to our advantage. I’m a combination of a few of the types you mentioned, but I'm mostly a casual gamer who likes to play for fun. I've tried a few of the monetization methods but never had much success. I'm sure it takes a bit of practice to master them. I'm guessing the best way to go about it is to start with the most comfortable methods and then gradually move on to the more complex ones. I've been checking out the joywallet.com lately, and it looks like a great way to make money. It offers a bunch of different options and they make it really easy to use. It looks like a great way to supplement my passive income.
