We all know MTG Arena is notoriously expensive to get into from scratch, what with there being no direct way to buy wildcards, which are the most sought-after commodity for Standard - to say nothing of trying to get into Historic!
I've been an avid Standard and Standard Draft player ever since beta and have accrued a stocked account on all fronts that would prove the perfect jumping point for someone trying to get into MTGA.

- According to this Frank Karsten article, 1 rare or mythic rare wildcard has a value of 2,742 gold, which is about 494.4 gems.
- Multiplying this by the number of rare & mythic WC on this account (232+102) x 494.4 yields a value of 165,129.6 gems.
- We know 20,000 gems = $99.99, so 165,129.6 / 20,000 = 8.26. Then 8.26 x $99.99 = $825.92 value of this account's WCs.
