got scammed

i traded my account yesterday with a guy that apeeared to be nice since we have been talking on vent for a couple of hours but when the time came we started trading and everything went smoothly and we exchanged all info and changed the emails on both accounts. after we traded he immediately logged off in a friendly way and then i tried to play with his account but it says there is an invalid username or pass. then i thought that was a typo or something when i changed the account but when i tried to retrieve it i realize that we exchanged all the info BUT the phone number. i went in game to look for him and he still acted nice and tried to help me out but when i asked him about his phone number he logged off from game and aim.

I want to believe that this is just a misunderstanding. i mean everything went smooth and everything but the guy has not answer any of my mails or is not in game nor aim.

Ask them to switch the email on the account to one of your own and then do a password recovery. Just tell them that your computer got key logged or you don't have acess to the email currently on the account.

Yeah I find the 'I got Keylogged' card works all the time considering they currently have a problem on the WoW forums with Chinese hackers attaching Keyloggers to websites (as soon as you click a link they give you it installs it on your computer.)

today i noticed that my character no longer appeared in game or in the armory, this tells me 2 things. 1 he changed my character name or 2 he deleted him, i cant really call blizzard since i dont live in the US and its not that easy to call from here, i just dont know what else to do now. i guess i should just give up and throw away my cd's

ya i got scammed hours after reading this at least i think it was after reading this maybe before or during it
long story short mine pulled the good old reversal of payment thing it looks like paypal is going to side with me cuse the user that claims he didnt know about the payment was from the same ip as i was talking to and sent the info
new way to caught scamer open comand promt type "netstat" and take a screen shot of it if they pull this scam paypal will have somthing more to work with and you may be able to recover it

real quick how come all the scammers i have ever delt with are from austrila and china i have heard that it is a little more tallerated over there like thing such as napster and kaza are aloud over there when they arent here so online scamer are fine
once agian messed up in my eyes please correct me on this if i am wrong and thank you for reading
