Ok, so more than a half year ago I bought a very exclusive account which I paid 1400euro for. This was done directly through the Original Owner and it had nothing to do with this forum. I do however seek help here because I know that there is people here who's experienced in this sector. About 3 days ago I noticed that I could no longer login to the account, I had been inactive for quite some time before that since World of Warcraft isn't my main priority anymore. Anyhow, I had his ID and everything (I thought) to restore the account back to normal. Now here comes the tricky part, when I sent all the details to Blizzard they asked me to send them a picture of the ID on a newspaper displaying the date. Thats something new they have came up with to **** up the system again?

Now I tried to contact the owner, we we're good friends before but now he doesn't even want to talk to me and I suspect he's the one who has done a chargeback. I tested calling him and once I said my name when he picked up, he hang up on me. I told him that I would give him 50euro for a picture that blizzard requested but he has yet not responded and it's been 2 days, which means hes ignoring me.

Now here is the part where I become pissed off, I have his adress, phone number and full name. I could easly visit him but I don't really want to spend 200euro on flight tickets, and I want to find a solution that isn't that painfull, because I would honestly in this moment am writing this, kill that son of a *****. I bet many people would beat up someone if they lost 1400euro on nothing. Yes, violence can solve many problems, but in this particular case I am looking for something to prioritize before taking violence to hand.

He's from Germany, so if someone is from Germany and have a solution on how to solve this, such as does the police take action against fraud in this particular case? If I would visit him, would it be possible to have a police man with me, incase he isn't willing to cooperate?

You all understand that no matter what I do send to blizzard from the information I have, I cannot solve it. He's the one who can solve it and he ignores the question to send a picture of the ID on a newspaper with the date displayed, even if he's getting money for it.

I would appriciate all answers and I hope the community here can help me the best they can. Because you don't take 1400euro and get away with it.

Sorry mate, The police won't help you, this whole trading/selling is against Blizzard TOS, if you have his full details add his facebook, add his facebook friends, talk to them, MAKE him talk to you. If all else fails, I would knock on his door one day, not threatening, and ask what the fux is going on? In my opinion, you should talk to paypal + credit card and banks about charging back your money, maybe even talking to blizzard about banning his account if you seek vengeance.

Good luck, hope you get that rat back

It doesn't matter about their ToS. I lost 1400euro for something he chargebacked thats FRAUD. It's like buying a car and the car owner has a pair of extra keys and takes the car back. I was a wittness in court along with my friend, but this was a different story. He was scammed for 250euro when he wanted to buy a character that never actually existed. He got his money back and the interest on it, the guy who did this to him got county service, I don't know the english name for it but I guess thats right.

He doesn't have facebook, I tested that already. I doubt you can chargeback a bank payment that was more than a half year ago? I will only ask blizzard to ban the account if he refuses to help me out or once he pay me the money back. Because seriously, nobody scams me for 1400euro thats more than a months work for some people. Sure I wouldn't give a **** if it was like 200euro, but if the police won't do anything I would surely visit his place and make sure that the son of a ***** never sees daylight again.

I might even upload it here for lols, so scammers on this forum will see how they once can end up like.

But you are from Denmark, it would really help if someone from Germany responded to this thread.
