Hey, just have a few questions about gold buying/selling.

I heard blizzard moniters any gold amounts taken between characters above 2000? Is it better to do the sale in intervals of say 1000 per trade?
Or would the total still be taken into account..?

I need to xfer 8k from one server to another, but through a level 10. Any ideas on the best method to do this? Reccomendable items to buy/ re sell?

Yeah its safer to do incremental trades, I often do even smaller than 1000g. Also make sure that the receiver puts something in trade each time. Another option that I have found to be extremely safe is transferring via a guild bank, its not hard to get 10 signatures to form a guild.

You're not able to transfer that much gold on a level 10 unfortunately, I think the cap at that level is ~500g. As far as transferring items I find Large Prismatics and Void Crystals great items to trade because they're relatively high value, easy to sell, and don't have an AH deposit to post.

On a side note Void Crystals are likely to go up in price when 2.4.2 hits and they remove the Void Shatter (enchanter ability) cooldown.

Hey Heggie long time. I would just buy a lot of mats that's similar or better in price(compare prices on the two servers), then move the lvl 10 with tons of valuable mats. Once the character is moved to the server you want, then make a guild bank or have your buyer make a guild bank. Move all items to the guild bank. Either you can sell the mats or have your buyer sell the mats, but don't flood AH, just little by little. Explain to the buyer that this is the safest way to handle gold transactions and you should be fine.
