Meta Support Starter 1 ($20) - 16.1k Rubies
General Supports (best)
Universal meta supports have long-lasting usefulness. They can be slotted into any team. Aviete, Edgar (FF6 Limited), Molrusso EX (DQ3 Limited), Shana are supports that are still being used in the JP version (about 1.5 years ahead of Global). Other units like Signa, Agnea, Kilns, Dark Priestess, Rinyuu EX are also universally useful even though they are not the best-in-slot anymore.
Teams can be usually split into physical or magic. You normally choose one or the other when teambuilding.
Physical Teams
Hybrids: For physical, Mydia, Phenn, and Ochette EX are good hybrid units that can support whilst also deal damage.
Pure DPS: Locke (FF6 Limited), Dark Knight, Odio-O (LaL Limited), and Pardis are all the good physical DPS currently.
Magic Teams
Hybrids: For magic, Lynette EX, Setzer (FF6 Limited), Rondo EX (Summer Limited), and Isla are the currently the best magic-based supports/hybrids.
Pure DPS: Xerc and Osvald are the main magic DPS units (dubbed Rainbow team). Other units like Terra (FF6 Limited), Emil (Nier Limited), Eltrix EX (Summer Limited) are also situationally useful.
A4 Accessories
When you get the dupe of the unit, you get an awakening stone. You may use that awakening stone to awaken a unit up to 4x -- A4. Once you awaken a unit to A4, you get their exclusive accessory.
Typically, the coveted A4s are damage cap accessories and those with good utility.
General pool units (nonlimited) like Hasumi, Primrose EX, H'aanit EX, Nicola, Harley have good utility A4s.
General pool units like Relisha and Grieg have damage cap A4s.
Some limited units may have a monthly exchangeable awakening stone by using awakening shards so you can get their A4 eventually as long as you have one copy of the unit.
